This Week’s Resource: A Breathwork Practice
Take a break to refresh your energy with this breathwork practice:
Find a comfortable seated position where you have enough room to raise your arms straight out from your sides.
Inhale for a count of four as you raise your straight arms overhead. Your hands can touch overhead or remain in a "V" shape.
Exhale for a count of four as you lower your arms back down to rest by your sides.
Continue this for a few minutes.
Optional:
Breathe through your nose.
Close your eyes.
Hold your breath at the top for a count of two, and pause at the bottom for a count of two.
Extend your inhale and exhale to a count longer than four.
Turn on some calming music and let a song act as your timer.
Try this practice throughout the day.
