Hi, The Mini is a weekly post that contains community updates and one well-being-related resource. It’s short, sweet, and, hopefully, interesting. On a personal note, I’m traveling to Utah soon. If you have any recommendations, please message me.

This Week’s Resource: A Practice to Help with Overthinking
Optional: Turn on some relaxing music. Set a timer for at least 5 minutes.
Find a comfortable seat on the ground or in a chair. If you're sitting on the ground, it may be comfortable to sit on a pillow.
Sit up straight.
Relax your shoulders.
Place your open hands, palms facing up, on top of your thighs.
Soften your gaze in front of you or close your eyes.
Relax your face muscles, jaw, and tongue.
Take a few deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth. Then return to your natural breathing pattern.
On an exhale, softly close your right hand into a fist.
Inhale and open your right hand, spreading your fingers.
On your next exhale, softly close your left hand into a fist.
Inhale and open your left hand, spreading your fingers.
Continue for a few minutes, alternating hands: Exhale and make a fist, inhale and open your hand.
Hopefully, focusing on your breath and your hand movements will give your brain a break.
Thank you so much for being a part of the community. Have a great week!
Take care,
Whitney
